HIDDEN STARS Talent Show Guidelines
1. Eligibility:
– Open to participants of all ages.
– Both solo and group acts are welcome.
2. Categories:
– Talent categories include dancing, gymnastics, acting, comedy, magic, instrumental music, and other unique talents.
– Participants must specify their category during registration.
3. Registration:
– A completed registration form, including a brief description of the act, is required.
– Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Performance Guidelines:
– Participants can choose from three performance options:
Option 1: Perform between quarters (max 1 minute and 30 seconds).
Option 2: Perform during half-time (max 3 minutes and 30 seconds, exceptions possible).
Option 3: Teaser between quarters (max 1 minute and 30 seconds) followed by the main act during half-time (max 3 minutes and 30 seconds).
– Only registered participants may perform; no substitutions or changes are allowed after registration.
– All acts must be family-friendly. Offensive language, gestures, or content are strictly prohibited.
– Participants are responsible for providing their own props and equipment unless otherwise arranged with the organizers.
5. Applications:
– After submitting an application to participate, the organizers of HIDDEN STARS will review your submission and notify you within 7 days whether you’ve been accepted into the competition.
6. Judging Criteria:
– Performances will be evaluated based on originality, talent, stage presence, and audience engagement.
– Online voting will be open for 1 week after the final act of the 2024-2025 season.
– Fan votes will account for 50% of the total score, with the remaining 50% determined by the organizing team.
– The act with the highest combined score will be declared the winner.
– In the event of a tie, the organizing team’s votes will determine the final winner.
7. Prizes:
– The top act will receive a prize package worth 3,000 euros and the opportunity to perform at a major sports event next season.
8. Sound:
– Participants must submit any background music via email to kris@heatinternational.net at least 1 week before the performance.
– No explicit lyrics are allowed. Music must be in MP3 format (320 kbps).
– A soundcheck will be scheduled before the performance.
9. Safety:
– No dangerous stunts or use of fire, sharp objects, or hazardous materials are allowed.
– Participants must adhere to all safety guidelines provided by the venue.
– Participants should wear shoes appropriate for the parquet floor to prevent damage (avoid wearing shoes with black soles or high heels).
10. Disqualification:
– Participants may be disqualified for misconduct, failing to adhere to time limits, or violating any rules.
– The organizers’ decisions are final in cases of disqualification.
11. Rehearsals:
– A rehearsal session will be held on the same day as the performance, before the teams’ warm-up begins. Attendance is mandatory for all participants.
12. Conduct:
– Participants must behave respectfully toward fellow contestants, judges, and the audience.
– Bullying, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate disqualification.
13. Cancellations:
– If a participant needs to withdraw, they must notify the organizers at least 1 week before the event.
